Union Grill

Conveniently located on the corner of Wheeling and Main, this place was actually nominated as one of the 20 best restaurants in Pennsylvania. It is here that you will find some of the finest Italian-American dishes anywhere. The bar itself is beautifully crafted and features local drafts as well as an extensive wine collection. Everything tastes like homemade and no tonly do they have all of the usual suspects here, but they also have a few creative dishes that you might like to sample. Only one recommendation from us, save room for dessert.

Bistecca

We don't even know where to begin with this establishment. Everything is cooked to absolute perfection including one of their signature dishes, filet mignon. If you want a different cut of meat, this place has it. And all of their sides just complement each entree so perfectly. And we haven't even mentioned the dessert yet which is out of this world. You are going to enjoy the wait staff as well because they know how to make sur eyou are well taken care of without being overly intrusive. We highly recommend this venue for a good time and some great food and drink.

AL'an Ruben's Bar and Grill

Everyone needs a cozy place to visit from time to time. And this is certainly one of those places that fits that description. The chef here has won numerous awards for his talent. There is such a huge variety on the menu that you may have trouble knowing which way to go but we think that is a really good problem to have. Do you like well prepared Italian dishes, they have them. But they also have seafood, tasty sandwiches and awesome burgers. So, in essence, there is something for everyone. Check it out soon and you will not be disappointed.

The Upper Crust

There is nothing like a family owned Italian establishment. This is one of the most popular restaurants in Washington. And for very good reason. There is a warm, friendly and very inviting atmosphere right from the first time you step foot inside this place. They use only the finest ingredients in all of their entrees and you have to try their homemade soups which are just outstanding. Of course, most people rave over their gourmet wood-fired, brick oven pizzas and one bite from you and you will be in heaven. This is a must stop.

Palazzo 1837 Ristorante

Let's face it, there is premier and then there is premier. This place is the former and the latter. They specialize in good old-fashioned Northern and Southern Italian dishes including steaks, seafood, pasta, chicken and veal. The staff and the decor creates a very welcoming and cozy atmosphere that you just don't want to miss. The best way that we can describe it is that the place has an old world charm. The bar area is absolutely stunning as it is made of antique marble. Just a cool time for anyone who steps through this establishment's doors.

The Fainting Goat

Your experience all begins and ends with fresh. What you can expect when you visit here is fresh local foods, craft beers and spirits coupled with a very friendly staff. What this combination gives you is a relaxed atmosphere and while you enjoy some top notch food and drink. As a starter, you absolutely must order the goat cheese fondue. After that, it really doesn't matter, anything you order is going to be good we promise you. And we are serious, you are going to love the vibe this place gives off, it might be exactly what you need after a long hard day.
