Relatively young, Henderson was first founded back in 1941 and grew quickly due to the necessity of Magnesium for the cause of World War 2. Once the war ended, and the demand for this metal had abated, state officials worked hard to keep the town relevant and eventually would see the City of Henderson officially formed on 4-16-53. Since that time, the city has boomed to a population of over 250k, and the city has gained nationwide notariety for it's safe lifestyle and relative lack of crime. If you're looking for a great place to take a break from Vegas' excitement... Henderson is well worth spending some time in.
Ohjah Noodle House #2
Sometimes, a bowl of Miso Ramen just hits the proverbial spot. If that is the situation you're finding yourself in, stroll (or drive) on over to Ohjah and dig in! This place has a rustic vibe to it, and serves up what is essentially authentic Japanese cuisine at really surprisingly affordable prices. The staff here is simply wonderful in every way which totals everything up to a five star experience! We highly recommend Ohjah!

Metro Diner
For a traditional breakfast or brunch in the Henderson area, our favorite choice is Metro Diner. Uncommonly delish coffee goes along with the extensive choices on the breakfast menu. Since they're well known for breakfast foods though, we were surprised to find they have rather tasty dinner options as well. That makes this diner a one stop shop for everything deliciously good about traditional American cuisine!

If you're looking to get served... This is your spot. This Asian Fusion and New American styled menu has become one of the cities most popular dining spots, and for very good reason! This is probably the only place around where you can find both Miso based meals and burgers on the same menu. Their creativity is what keeps us coming back for more! There's so many delicious combinations here, we simply can't get enough.

Unbelievably tasty and incredibly authentic, Thailicious is one place any Thai or Vegan food fan simply shouldn't pass up! They make your meals as spicy or un-spicy as you'd like, but no matter what is on your plate... Le Cafe Du Lac
French Cuisine is vastly underrepresented within the United States. So, when we're cruising around and find a French cafe... We simply have to dive in and try it out. Thankfully, we came across this place our last time through Henderson and we simply LOVE it. The locals call it a hidden gem. Well, we're out to change that "hidden" annotation as we're telling everyone we can just how much they're missing by not going here!

We are so thankful for the proliferation of Mediterranean restaurants that have take the country by storm in the last few years. If you've never experienced HUMMUS first hand... You honestly don't know what kind of a delectable treat you're missing out on. Come here for incredibly fresh and flavorful salads and then wash it down with some of the most refined shish kabob you're ever going to find. The friendly help just fills out the experience!
