How the Event Works

Starting this year, participants will experience what is called a Tropicolor zone while running on the course. What this means is that all of the runners will be bathed in a tropical array of colors and island scents as you pass by palm trees, arches and island music. Then, when you cross the finish line, get ready for even more fun as you experience what is called the Rainbow Beach. What is the Rainbow Beach you might be wondering? It is an interactive island featuring music, dancing, unique photo opportunities and massive color throws. And something else you are really going to love about this race is the fact that you will receive a limited-edition Tropicolor race shirt, a finisher's medal on a floral-printed ribbon, embroidered headband and some funny temporary tattoos. The organizers and sponsors have done an excellent job at making sure this will be a very memorable experience for you.

Another addition this year is going to be a night run. If you have never participated in an official night run, you don't know what you are missing. There is a buzz in the air and how this one is operated, you are definitely going to have a story or two to tell. Get ready for what are called glowtastic color zones, illumunating bubble zones, awesome photo opportunities, music and glowing color shows. You will receive a limited edition Night Race kit which includes a glowing tee, black light headlamp and a one of a kind glow color packet to help you get your glow on. Don't worry about making a certain time on the night run, this is only about having fun. But be prepared to be doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer. If this sounds like an absolute blast, it is because it is.

And in the end, it is just a great thing to be a part of an event that promotes a healthy lifestyle. One of the goals of this event is to act as a catalyst to help participants live an active, healthy lifestyle. If you talk to past participants, you will see that everyone leaves the event with a smile. And one more thing that you will love about this run.
